On behalf of the Board Of Management, our members and our staff we would like to welcome you to our web site. This association has been providing support to the people of the North West since our inception in 1986 and our subsequent incorporation in 1988.

We are a community based organisation located on the North-West Coast of Tasmania. Governance is through a voluntary Board of Management. The Board is made up of a variety of members with broad experience and knowledge in community organisations.

We aim to enhance the quality of life for people in our community with a disability, the frail aged and their carers, to live as independently as possible within his or her community thereby avoiding unnecessary or premature placement by:

• Providing individualised, competent and professional care to the person within his or her own home or community setting, thus encouraging and assisting new friendships to develop and new experiences to be shared, and by,


• Providing reliable, quality support that will enable the family of the person for whom they are caring to enjoy a regular, or occasional break from their usual routine.
